How do you drive footfall for city centre venue pubs on those ‘dead’ nights
of the week? How do you leverage the property of quality film and make
it relevant to a broad target audience? How do you showcase to retailers
best practice in table service and multi-buy? How do you get a total
brand experience in environments usually resistant to brand owner POS?
These were the questions posed to the agency by Stella Artois. Our
answer was to take the Stella Artois quality film experience on the
road to give a young audience a reason to make a bee-line for venues
screening films they love.
Kicking off with Pulp Fiction the Church experiential marketing
team took over pubs in Derby and Manchester city centres, working
with the managers to drive ticket sales to screenings and arranging
the full cinema experience in the venue.

Manchester. The pub is full and has been since early doors, busy
tills, happy manager, delighted customers and a complete Stella Artois
